 Common button quail-Turnix sylvaticus this species is from southern Spain and Africa through India and tropical Asia. They inhabit warm grasslands or scrub jungle and feed on insects and seeds. 

Gambel's quail-Callipepla gambelii this species is from California, Rocky Mountains, and Southwest, Texas.  They like brushy desert and canyons. Favors typical Sonoran desert, with open ground  and wide variety of shrubs, low trees, and cactus; often around mesquite  thickets.  

Red golden pheasant- Chrysolophus pictus this species is from western China. They live in the forest and mountains. They feed mostly on grains, greens, and some insects.

 Lady Amherst pheasant-Chrysolophus amherstiae this species is native to southwestern China and far northern Myanmar. They live in wooded hills and bamboo, dense shrub patches and thickets. They feed mostly on grains, greens, and some insects.
